Barack Hussein Obama born on August 4th 1961, was the 44th president of the United States who served from 2009 to 2017. He was a member of the Democratic party. He was the first African American president of the United States.
Some of Obama’s achievements are Healthcare reform, rescued the country from the Great Recession, cutting the unemployment rate from 10% to 4.7% over 6 years. He signed the Affordable Care Act which provided health insurance to over 20 million uninsured Americans. H managed to end ear in Iraq. He also began the drawdown of troops in Afghanistan.
